OPEN CASTING CALL FOR MONSTER'S BALL X

We have a limited number of openings for stage hands, performers and volunteers to join the Monster’s Ball X team. 

How do I become part of the team?

A solo audition is required for consideration.  Specialty acts and routines that fit the spooky, sexy, campy world of the show will be more heavily considered.  Though dance and theatre experience is an asset, it is not required. Dedication, reliability, positivity, collaboration, openness and creativity are a must.  Performers of all shapes, sizes, genders, ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. 

Rehearsals will begin in September.  Because all of our performers have other jobs, this sometimes means limited rehearsals for some routines in the shows. If accepted, performers must be available for all scheduled rehearsals, barring illness or genuine emergencies.  

Sundays are typically a full rehearsal day.  Groups are 1-2 times in the evening during the week.  Tech week will run from Oct.25-28th, with 28th being the mandatory dress rehearsal.

Submitting an audition:

• The deadline for submissions is due September 1st, 2026. 
• All auditionees should complete the following Performer Pitch Form. https://forms.gle/8x9o1FMowJ5U3Rmk6 
• Email audition video to sudburyburlesqueinfo@gmail.com using Google Drive, Dropbox, or an unlisted Youtube or similar private link.  Please check your viewing permissions before sending.
• Full costumes and full reveals are not required.  We do however want to see that you’ve put time, thought and effort into the submission.
• By submitting an audition video, performers are consenting to it being viewed privately by our Producer and Director for audition purposes only.  Videos will not be shared publicly.
